National Social Business Challenge

Social Business Challenge is an annual program of Yunus Social Business Centre- King’s College. It was started with an objective of promoting Social Business Models across Nepal. The program aim at bringing together people, from various backgrounds, who are trying to address social challenges through viable business models. The Centre also provides “Social Entrepreneurship Workshop” prior to the “Social Business Challenge” to help develop insights in establishing a social enterprise and also prepare the participants for the competition.

In 2017, Yunus Social Business Centre ran “Social Entrepreneurship Workshop” in 4 different cities of Nepal. Altogether 230 participants from different colleges and organizations took part in the workshop and in the main event. The first initiation of Social Business Challenge got positive remarks from the participants.
